Kate Moss ruling the world????

She started off as one of the world most beautiful and successful supermodels...but now she is one of the most successful business women!!! and by the looks of it about to star in her first film!

I love Kate Moss...apart from the hole drugs scandal! I admire her for coming back and making a success of her self for things other than modeling...but advising Mr Cowell and staring in a movie..we shall have to see how she does...I have a book on Kate, which I may show you at a later date..its just a book on her style and how it has changed...its very interesting I would advise lots of you to buy it. Lots of pictures :) but it also talks through her life which is interesting.
This women is an inspiration!!!
I can't wait to see her film

Photos!!!! of my visits

Now like I said in my previous posts I had lots of places to visit and here are just a few places that I went and reviewed..I was excited for the day ahead...however it mostly a bit of a let down.
Firstly H Holland for Debenhams...I went striding in!
It was very bright and colourful...and I am known for liking bright colours...however I felt a little let down by Holland this time.
I am a big fan of his work however this collection just felt a bit limp and lifeless.
There are a few things that a might buy...but I feel I would only be buying for his name not the clothes.

and the shoes although cheap...the also looked it a little bit :s
I would give this collection a 7/10.
Next was the Carnaby Street exhibition...and I was really excited about this because I just love stuff like this (history of fashion, and the way things used to be).
But again a little disappointed it was just a small room with a few exhibition stands, as you can see from my photos that was mainly it ! I was expecting something a bit more like the fashion exhibition at the V & A.
There is also a limited edition book that was £16 at the exhibition it looked good but I'm unsure as whether to purchase now because of the exhibition let down :(

A small projection showing a video of Carnaby street in the 60's.

So i feel a little let down by my days events but never mind!!! I cheered myself up with a trip to Harvey Nichols :)

Places to go...things to see!!!

Since my little blogging blip and my mountain of work that seemed to back up on me...I seem to have a lot of social and fashion events to be catching up on... and to name a few here, that I think all of you should visit.
Firstly in my diary is going to visit Hollands new collection at Debenhams, now this is a way for debs to bring in a younger, more fashion conscious, target market...and by the looks of things it is working in Debenhams favour....and from taking a quick peek in a magazine...the items all seem like bargins!!!

... Now I can see where the tash trend has come from !!!

Now some where between my London home and my parents home is Bicester village (near Oxford), which me and my parents love...and whats not to love about discounted designer wear!!!
but more to the point LFW designers such as PPQ and House of Holland will be opening up a pop-up shop (at Bicester village). There will be 19 designers from LFW selling their garments with discounts of up to 60%!!!
Now if your going to take a day trip anywhere it NEEDS to be here...I am definitely going to be there in the next few weeks...I will let you no how it goes if you don't go yourselves.
It officially opens on the 31st of march...and is open for 6 weeks.

Now another important place to go which is high up on my list is the photography exhibition for Carnaby Streets 50th anniversary...now I love photography and where better to go than a fashion exhibition showing images from the 60's up until now!!

they are also doing a limited edition book which I think is selling for £20...now I feel I am definitely going to buy one!!!
This is taking place at 38 Carnaby Street!

OUTFITTTT!

Going out the other night for my friend Randy's birthday to Ruby Blue in Leicester Square. Its quite a nice place...however quite small it seemed...although they serve food there during the day and the menu looked quite nice :)...
Recently I have been so bad with my blog...and my excuse is work...we under estimated how long things were going to take and kind of found ourselves scurrying around in the last week! but i guess this is what life will be like when I become a real life buyer...busy (however my real dream is to work at a fashion magazine !!!).
But now work has been handed in I plan to go back to my ways of a more religious blogger.
and my plan for this Easter is earn and save money to buy and SLR camera..I will let you no how proceedings are going!

I went for the usual messy hair that evening and my outfit consists of...
Dress: Newlook
Belt: My mothers wardrobe
Tights: Accessorize
Shoes: Miss Selfridge.
Hope you like the out fit.
All in all a really good night

looking a little blue !!!

The great thing about being a student is the excuse to dress up...and last night was no exception. A crew of fellow London College of Fashion goers and a few Central saint Martins. We gathered together to let are hair down.
We like to do things out of the ordinary...because ordinary is boring...and where better to get away with it then the eastend of London.
Our location... T bar near Aldgate..
The theme...SMURF!!!!

This hat was given to me by a randomer in the club I was only happy to oblige...it was amazing !

When we got there much to our amazement it seemed to be a smurf night...there were two other smurf groups we were shocked !!!! but this made us very excited and they had amazing hats that we liked to run off with...they loved it.
It was a great night but that facepaint was hurrendus to get off...I am still finding it in my ears today !!!!
Why be in fashion if you can't do fun outragous things like this...everyone loves a bit of dressup !!! and if your going to do it...you may as well go all out !!!!
All in all a good night.

MY NEW GLASSES!!!!

So ever since Christmas I have felt that my eye sight is not what it used to be and people would be walking toward me waving and I would have no idea who they were...it was at this point a week ago that I thought it best to get an eye test...
and I was not shocked when they lady announced I needed glasses...
Now it is a big decision...these are something that is going to be on your face 90% of the time they have to look right...and of course my friends and boyfriend all wanted there say...so it took forever to choose a pair.
But here you are my shiny new Calvin Klein glasses...they fit like a glove.

I felt it needed a bit of red lippy here to spice it up.however very Secretary esc!

It is the oddest thing walking around with glasses I fell all of a sudden people are looking at me...they do kind of stick out like a sore thumb...but I like them.

But I feel like I'm wearing sunglasses and nobody can see my eyes so I catch myself stairing at people on the tube...its very embarrassing...I also feel very inconspicuous like a robber when I enter I shop I feel all attention goes onto the girl wearing glasses. I feel like I'm being naughty!

Nobody recognises me either

So these are my new best friends...Give me a week and I'll be Caroline no glasses because I've lost them or sat on them !!!!

Glasses are a big imaging changing thing.A MASSIVE DEAL!...so I felt best to share this with you all.

Places to go...things to see!

Places to go...things to see I think will be my title for things such as this.
On my blog I not only like to post about my activities and outfits but interesting things to do and see mainly around London...I just think we are in such a great city with so many opportunities it seems silly to miss out on things that probably won't be happening anywhere else in the country...and that is the beauty of London.
This article is from the Stylist this week (which I love).
Click on the article to read it properly, but it has Twiggy's Life in Photographs at the National Portrait Gallery which looks really good, and another photography exhibition at Somerset House.
As you can probably tell I like photography...and this Easter I am planning to do what ever I can to get an SLR camera so I can start taking my own pictures (mostly of fashion) for you guys to enjoy.

So free up your diaries people !!! and enjoy x x x x

Posting twice!

I seem to have managed to post the same thing twice...so untill I can work out how to delete one of them apologies !!! x x x x

Another day...another shoot!!!

Here I am modeling for my friend Randy, I have known him for since forever, and he is studying Fashion Design Development at LCF.
His theme was recycling and he made this out of an old dressing gown and an old jacket. He went for an oriental theme because of the fabric print...I think it looks amazing !!! some great craftsmanship !!! I think he is going to be an amazing designer! so watch out for him !
My favourite images are the second and the fifth one.
I liked the building in the background of this first one!

He wanted to take these photos up against a brick wall he saw on Fashion street however we found one closer to home in our halls. I was glad because it was quite cold!
But these are just a few of my favourite ones!
Hope you like them
